Do you need to protect an electronic product with an enclosure made of plastic, sheet metal, or other material? We've designed EMI tight enclosures with custom aluminum extrusions to dissipate heat. If style and ergonomics are important, we can create renderings using PhotoWorks.

We also have extensive experience with injection molding and the vacuum forming of plastic parts. For prototypes and limited production, we use cast urethane parts produced with very low-cost tooling that closely mimic injection-molded plastics with great finishes and textures.

A customer came to us with this requirement:

"It's imperative we have EMI tight sheet metal enclosures for three circuit board assemblies in two weeks. We need 3D modeling in SolidWorks along with a complete set of detailed drawings and a prototype in only two weeks. Can you do it?"

We stepped up to the plate and modeled 74 parts and created 28 drawings of sheet metal enclosures, EMI gaskets, and circuit boards. We also supplied a completely functional prototype with all drawings in a record two-week period. This is the type of commitment you can expect from Matrix Product Development!

Packaging Capabilities

We use SolidWorks for 3D modeling and creating custom plastic parts, aluminum extrusion heat sinks, and sheet metal parts.

We use PhotoWorks to render models with background scenes, material surfaces, and external lighting effects. If you'd like a realistic touch, we'll add shadows and mirrors.
