Wireless Temperature Sensing Sound Recording microphone

Food Safety

Wireless Temperature Sensors can save raw product from spoiling and undercooking, as well as increase regulatory compliance in food safety.  Wireless Temperature Sensing is very useful for moving items where traditional temperature sensing systems are not usable or are not optimal. It is also very useful if the location to be measured is difficult to reach. Someone can merely place a wireless temperature probe in the desired location (such as the top of a silo or on the top of a food storage facility) and easily read the measurements for years. Also, no seals have to be broken in order to run a wire to the location (such as with a commercial freezer, dishwasher, commercial oven, food storage container, etc.).

Additionally, new food safety initiatives have been put in place by the Obama Administration. Food has to be measured within a certain temperature range throughout the transportation and storage cycle. This creates a great need for wireless temperature sensing as semi-trucks, commercial freezers and many other places along the transportation and storage system will need to comply with federal regulations.  Wireless Temperature systems will increase Food Safety by wireless monitoring temperature in any given environment.  Contact Matrix Product Development for more information.
