Oops! Missed a Spot…

Here’s part two!

Barcode scanning doesn’t provide the security and guarantee that your assets are properly managed and kept track of. It’s too easy to forget to scan something, whether it is a single item or an entire shelf.

And when that missed “spot” can cost thousands of dollars in inventory you don’t want to be messing around and hope that every item, box, shelf etc. gets counted, when you KNOW it can!

So what do I mean by “when you KNOW it can!” I’m simply saying that wireless scanners don’t forget to count inventory items. They don’t scan the same item twice. They don’t take long hours of manual labor. They don’t spend time searching for the bar code etc.

What is the logical thing to do? Take human error out of the equation by adopting wireless technologies.

When it comes to inventory, accuracy will save vast amounts of time and money. It makes sense that the better you are able to manage your assets the more money that stays in your pocket.

Here’s a quick example of how wireless tracking can greatly benefit a hospital.

Currently, hospitals are using a barcoding system to manage the inventory in their heart catheterization labs. Hospitals reported annually losing $700,000 dollars per cath lab in inventory, simply because barcodes are not a reasonable means of controlling their assets!

That’s ONE catheterization lab! Becoming more efficient should be at the top of every businesses list.

The bottom line is wireless technologies guarantees precision, and if precision keeps more money in the bank then you should defiantly be interested in this stuff as much as I am!
